How to invoice clients in USDC from Singapore

Freelancers in Singapore often wait days for international bank wires and lose money on conversion to SGD. A USDC invoice lets an overseas client pay you in dollars-pegged stablecoin straight to your own wallet. PayLane makes the invoice and the payment link for free.

How to do it in 30 seconds

  1. Open PayLane (free, no signup).
  2. Enter your name, your client, and line items in USDC.
  3. Pick Solana or Base and paste your own wallet address.
  4. Click Create shareable link and send it to your client. They tap Pay with wallet and the exact amount is pre-filled.
  5. Use Check payment to see the transfer land on the block explorer, then print the invoice to PDF for your records.

Why USDC instead of a bank wire?

FAQ

Does PayLane charge a fee?

No. PayLane never holds funds. The client pays your wallet directly; you only pay the network fee (cents on Solana and Base).

Do I need an account?

No signup. The whole invoice is encoded in the link, so nothing is stored on a server.

Which wallets work?

On Solana, Phantom, Solflare and Backpack open the Solana Pay link. On Base, MetaMask, Rabby and Coinbase Wallet open the EIP-681 link.

What about taxes?

Crypto income is usually taxable. Rules differ by country and change often, so keep each invoice PDF and check with a local accountant.

PayLane is a free tool, not financial or tax advice. Converting USDC to local currency depends on the exchanges and rules available where you live.
